$1.3 Million for Estate of Construction Worker Killed by Faulty Chainsaw
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a settlement of $1.3 million on behalf of the family of a construction laborer who was killed while working on Eisenhower Junior High in Hoffman Estates when the bit of a concrete chainsaw broke loose and lodged in his brain. The chainsaw broke earlier in the week, and the worker was using an unsafe, makeshift chain guard, which the bit penetrated.
